FORESTVILLE - Edward M. Conway, 75, of Forestville, passed away with his family by his side after a short illness, at Brooks Memorial Hospital on Jan. 15, 2014.
He served in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne, then worked in printing and textiles and retired as an ironworker for the former Dunkirk Radiator.
Edward ''Ed'' loved and enjoyed spending time with his family. He had many passions and hobbies such as photography, gardening, nature, history, science, building furniture, hunting, fishing and NASCAR.
Survivors include his loving wife of 48 years Joan A. Conway; a son, John (Jennifer) Conway; and a daughter, Kelley (Brad) Jesionowski. He is also survived by extended family Henry and Janet Smith, Justin Ernst and Charles Berns and many other family and friends.
A memorial service followed by a light lunch will be held Sunday, July 27, 2014, from 2-5 p.m. at the Pine Valley Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2522, Route 83, Cherry Creek.
