CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE
Ashlyn N. Terry, 18, was charged Friday following a traffic stop. At approximately 3:18 p.m., patrol stopped a speeding motorist on Interstate 86 in the town of Ellery. The operator was identified as Terry, and an investigation revealed that she was driving while intoxicated. She was charged with DWI with a blood alcohol content level of .08 percent or higher, DWI per se and speeding. Terry will appear at Ellery Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
Claytoven A. Leeper, 24, received multiple charges following a traffic stop that occurred Saturday. At approximately 2:29 a.m., patrol stopped a vehicle on Route 430 in the town of Ellery for having an expired registration. The driver, identified as Leeper, was found to have been operating the vehicle while impaired under the combined influence of alcohol and drugs, and was charged accordingly; as well as for driving an unregistered vehicle. He was also found to be in possession of a small quantity of marijuana at the time he was charged, leading to an additional charge of unlawful possession of marijuana. Leeper was processed and released, and will appear at Ellery Town Court to answer the charges at a future date.
