Pictured is Myles Pickup, an attendee at the Farman Free Library's Summer Reading Program kickoff on Tuesday, which featured an appearance by Billy Buffalo. The library will host the program for four weeks, on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Each week will focus on a different theme. Participants earn points for independent reading throughout the week that can be used for prizes. The library will also offer an art program throughout July, featuring local artists, from 11 a.m. to noon on Thursdays.
