The Southwestern Schools Education Foundation is holding its third annual Cycle Chautauqua Bike Tour on Saturday, July 19.
The tour consists of two lengths, a 23-mile route going halfway around the lake with a free crossing on the historic Stow Ferry, and the 43-mile route going the full distance around the lake. Both tours begin and end at the Lucille Ball Memorial Park in Celoron. At the end of the tour, there will be a free lunch for all cyclists and many gift basket auctions graciously donated by local businesses.
All proceeds will benefit the students and teachers of the Southwestern School District with projects ranging from arts, sciences, sports, grants for teachers and scholarships for graduating seniors. Both tours are $25 and include a T-shirt if registered by Monday. T-shirts will be available for same-day registration as quantities allow. One can pay online with Paypal or the same day with cash, check or credit card. There is also a registration form to download and mail located on the foundation website.
