Area motorcycle enthusiasts are invited to tour the scenic highways of Chautauqua County while raising money for a good cause by taking part in the seventh annual Laurel Run Dice Run on Saturday, July 19.
Registration and check-in begin at 10 in the Village Square in Silver Creek, in the midst of the other Laurel Run events taking place that day. At noon, dice run participants will set out on a course that includes stops at the Cassadaga Legion, the Ellery Center VFW, the War Vets Club near Jamestown and the Westfield Legion before returning to Silver Creek. At each stop, participants will be given a roll of the dice. Re-rolls cost $1 and people may re-roll as often as they like.
Participants will return to Silver Creek by about 4:30 p.m. for a barbecue and prize drawings.
Laurel Hotelling poses with Brian Smith, who once again will lead the participants along the route of the Laurel Run Dice Run on July 19.
Prizes will be given to the high-rolling driver, the low-rolling driver, the high-rolling rider and the low-rolling rider.
Registration is $20 for a driver only or $30 for a driver and rider. Refreshments will be served. Participants also will receive a Laurel Run T-shirt and a goody bag.
For a registration form or more information, call Suzette Smith at 661-1001.
Money raised through Laurel Run goes to Filling the Gap Inc., which works with The Resource Center to improve the lives of people with disabilities in Chautauqua County.
