Blackstone Receives American Flag

Veterans of several wars and many local dignitaries were on hand recently as Peter Carlo, organizer and past commander of Chapter 47 of the Disabled Veterans of America, donated an American flag to Blackstone Advanced Technologies, 86 Blackstone Ave., Jamestown. Pictured with Carlo and his wife, Mary Ann, at far left, are: Jamestown Mayor Sam Teresi; Gary Chilcott, representing Chautauqua County Executive Vince Horrigan; Jacqueline Chiarot, representing U.S. Rep. Tom Reed, R-Corning; Lori Cornell, representing Gov. Andrew Cuomo; Greg Rabb, Jamestown City Council president; Dorothy Gruber, representing Assemblyman Andrew Goodell, R-Jamestown; Thomas Abbott, past commander of Chapter 47 of the Disabled Veterans; many U.S. military veterans; and Heather and Ricky Turner, Blackstone owners.
