The Zion Covenant Church has received a grant award from the Karl Peterson Field of Interest Fund administered by the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation, for some work being done on the 110-year-old Kimball Pipe Organ. The Fischer Pipe Organ Company of Erie, Pa., is doing an upgrade of the electronic and MIDI voices including a 12-foot touch screen monitor. Other improvements include a record/playback unit to the existing classic control system. The work on the organ is slated to be completed by the end of this summer. Pictured, from left, are: Brian A.
