Dana Robert Delahoy, 62, loving son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully Feb. 22, 2014, at the Denver VA Hospital.
He was born April 29, 1951, in Jamestown, N.Y., to Charles and May (Hadley) Delahoy.
Dana graduated from Chautauqua High School in Chautauqua, N.Y., and served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam and Germany, as a heavy equipment operator.

He lived in New Orleans, La., for 29 years before retiring to live with family in Colorado Springs, Colo., in 2002. He spent many years working as a port engineer all over the world, including Alaska, South America, and England.
Dana had an entertaining wit, enjoyed trivia, having a drink, and shooting pool with his many friends. He was a good man with a big heart, who will be deeply missed and loved by all of his family and friends.
Dana was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and May (Hadley) Delahoy.
He is survived by his brothers: David (Jerri) Delahoy and Dennis (Annette) Delahoy; twin sister, Diana Bayette and sisters: Janice (Brian) Franklin and Jean (Don) Roth; as well as many cousins, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, and countless friends.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., on Saturday, July 5 at Panama United Methodist Church. The Rev. Jennifer Delahoy will officiate.
