Milton C. Courtright passed away at 8:20 p.m. on June 19, 2014, in Spring Hill, Fla.
Milt was born on Feb. 18, 1933, in French Creek, N.Y. He was preceded in death by his parents Clyde and Lucy Courtright and his sister Helen Willey, and brother-in-law Don Willey.
He is survived by his wife, Betty. They have shared the last 61 years together. He is also survived by their four children: Pat Suzanne DeWitt (Chris), Jo-Lynda Jackson (Dennis), Michael Courtright (Debbie), and Dr. Kevin Courtright (Vicky).

Milton was blessed with 11 grandchildren: J. Cody DeWitt (Eileen), Kelly DeWitt (Jennifer), Carly DeWitt (Matt), Dr. Andrew Jackson (Kate), Tracy Dailey (Bryan), Dr. Matthew Jackson (Emily), Staff Stg. Tom Courtright (Jennifer), Dillon Courtright, Samuel Courtright, Katherine Courtright, and Luke Courtright, as well as five great-grandchildren: Jackson, Caleb, and Bennett Dailey and Mackenzie and Jaxon Courtright.
Milt served in the U.S. Army as a military policeman, two years in active duty, two years in active reserves, and two years in inactive reserves. He worked for MRC/SKF in Jamestown and Falconer, N.Y., for 33 years as a Tool and Die Maker and Supervisor of Research and Development.
In his earlier years Milt enjoyed deer hunting and fishing and in his later years tending to his apple trees and woodworking.
Milt was a proud member of the 575 Masonic Lodge in Sherman, N.Y., and a member of the Clymer United Methodist Church.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Clymer United Methodist Church in Clymer, N.Y., at a date yet to be announced.
