JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Ramon C. Spunaugle, 18, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with second-degree harassment, endangering the welfare of a child, criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation and unlawful imprisonment. At 4:23 a.m., officers responded to Chandler Street for a report of a domestic dispute. Investigation revealed that Spunaugle threw the juvenile victim onto the ground and then straddled the victim, preventing the victim from getting up. Spunaugle then put his shirt over the victim's face, making it difficult for the victim to breath. He punched the victim in the face multiple times, causing minor bruising. Spunaugle was transported to city jail and is awaiting arraignment.
Daniel J. Sevenish, 32, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with second-degree obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest and a bench warrant. At 10:20 p.m., officers responded to 12 W. 15th St. to assist the New York State Police in looking for a possible stolen vehicle. When officers located the alleged stolen vehicle, Sevenish approached them, saying that he knew the driver but was not going to tell his name. Sevenish refused to tell officers anything and pulled away when they tried to arrest him. After a short struggle, he was taken into custody and transported to the city jail where he is being held on bail. Officers then determined that Sevenish had a valid bench warrant out of Jamestown Court.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Chaze A. Johnson, 21, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with unlawful possession of marijuana. At 11:52 p.m., a patrol on Forest Avenue Extension pulled over a vehicle that was speeding. Investigation revealed that a passenger - Johnson - had an outstanding warrant out of Jamestown. He was also in possession of a small amount of marijuana. Johnson was turned over to the Jamestown Police Department and will appear in Busti Court at a later date.
