Jamestown Community College hosted the College Connections Student Art Exhibition on May 29 in JCC's Weeks Gallery.
JCC offers drawing, ceramics, and photography courses in several area high schools through the College Connections program. Select students in each of these courses were given an opportunity to exhibit their works at JCC.
Students chosen for the exhibition included: Erin Clark and Ashley Taylor of Bolivar-Richburg Central School (teacher Gerald Brown), Emond Dermont and Paige Michael of Clymer Central School (teacher Cheryl Burk), Dakota Aasted and Jade Joseph of Cuba-Rushford High School (teacher Alison Feenaughty), Ryan Hawkins, Abby Sirwatka, Emily Walters, and Alison Winchester of Maple Grove High School (teacher Kevin Johnson), Sarah Retchless and Brianna Wesley of BOCES-Olean, and Erin Domagola and Morgan Everson of Southwestern High School (teacher Mark Kirsch).

Student work was judged in visual communication, design and composition, creativity and originality, and craftsmanship categories.
Domagola's work was awarded best of show while Sirwatka was awarded honorable mention.
