CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE
IRVING-Eric M. Carncross, 29, of Buffalo was charged Sunday with trespass and unlawful possession of marijuana. Ronald G. Carlisle, 22, of Tonawanda was charged Sunday with trespass. Valerie A. Perry, 25, of Buffalo was charged Sunday with trespass. Megan M. Hassett, 25, of Kenmore was charged Sunday with trespass. At approximately 1:30 p.m., deputies allege that the above subjects trespassed onto private property. Investigation revealed that Carncross was in possession of marijuana. They will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.
SHERMAN-Michael A. Vanevery, 29, of Sherman was charged Monday with felony driving while intoxicated, felony aggravated unlicensed operation and refusal to take chemical test. At approximately 7:30 a.m., a 911 call was made from the Vanevery residence in Findley Lake. Kristi Vanevery called to report that her husband left the residence with a shotgun to assault another male that resides in the area. Her husband-Michael Vanevery-gave himself up upon the arrival of deputies and the New York State Police. Investigation revealed that Vanevery drove a vehicle intoxicated. He also had a previous DWI charge from 2011 and a revoked license. He was committed to county jail.
FRENCH CREEK-Thomas L. Mount, 65, of Northeast, Pa., was arrested Thursday for second-degree criminal contempt. The charge stems from an incident that occurred on May 29 in which Mount allegedly failed to obey an order of protection.
HANOVER-David S. Thompson, 25, of Depew and John R. Rutherford, 31, of Depew were both charged with public urination Sunday. At approximately 12:46 p.m., Hanover residents observed the above subjects urinating besides a business on routes 5 and 20. They will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.
JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Tyshaw L. Lovines, 21, of Buffalo was charged Monday with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Devon D. Rodgers, 27, of Buffalo was also taken into custody on a valid arrest warrant for second-degree robbery. At approximately 9 a.m., officers dispatched to the area of 815 E. Second St. for possible drug activity in the area. Officers arrived on scene and performed a street check on Lovines, who had an illegal switchblade knife. While he was taken into custody, officers found a quantity of crack cocaine in his possession. Rodgers was arrested on a warrant out of the Cheektowaga Police Department. He is being held at the city jail. Tyshaw is being held without bail.
Michael J. Dove Jr., 38, of Jamestown was charged Monday with third-degree assault. At approximately 12:46 a.m., police responded to South Main Street for a past tense domestic dispute. Investigation revealed that Dove had punched and slapped a female victim multiple times in the face. Officers located him on Howard Street. He was transported to city jail. The female victim was transported to WCA Hospital for an injury to her right eye.
David W. Swart, 55, of Jamestown was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated, DWI Per Se, failure to use a turn signal and avoiding an intersection. At approximately 8:46 p.m., officers dispatched to 1635 W. Third St. for a possible intoxicated driver leaving the parking lot. Officers arrived on scene and observed the vehicle leaving the parking lot and failing to use a turn signal. The driver-Swart-was found to be intoxicated. He was transported to city jail.
NEW YORK STATE POLICE
FREWSBURG-James E. Kidder, 44, of Frewsburg was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated. At approximately 7:20 p.m., Jamestown State Troopers responded to a report of an erratic driver on Water Street in Frewsburg who had struck a mailbox and forced a vehicle off the road. Troopers located the vehicle and placed Kidder under arrest after field sobriety tests. Kidder was transported to SP Jamestown for processing where a BAC of .26 was obtained. He was committed to Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail. He will appear in Carroll Court at a later date.
RANDOLPH-Jesse R. Albares, 24, of North Tonawanda was charged Saturday with DWI after a traffic stop on Torrence Road in Randolph for an inadequate tail lamp. Albares was transported to SP Jamestown for processing where a BAC of .19 was obtained. He will appear in Randolph Court at a later date. He was released to a third party.
