Barbara Cederquist Shue, 78, of Huntington Beach, Calif., passed away May 12, 2014, at home.
She was born Sept. 20, 1935, in Jamestown, N.Y., the daughter of the late Walter J. and Elva W. Cederquist.
She was a graduate of Bemus Point High School, Purdue University and took graduate classes at Long Beach State University. She taught home economics in Dearborn, Mich., and Aneheim, Calif. She was member of the Christian Science Church.
She is survived by two daughters: Wendy (Dean) Doke of Westminster, Calif., and Kelly (Luiz) Vazquez of Huntington Beach, Calif.; four grandchildren: Camryn and Michael Doke and Natalie and Anthony Vazquez; and a sister, Muriel C. Jackson of Lakewood.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sydney Shue, who died in 2010.
Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
