For the fifth year in a row, members of Chi Sigma Chi made a donation to support youth services at the Winifred Crawford Dibert Boys and Girls Club.
The Chi Sigma Chi Remembrance Fund, administered by the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation, was established by the alumni of the Chi Sigma Chi Fraternity to provide financial support for the Boys and Girls Club.
During the fraternity's existence at Jamestown High School from 1926-1975, members utilized the space at the then-named Boys Club for basketball games, meetings and other youth related activities.
Members of Chi Sigma Jerry Erickson, Phil Carcione and Ollie Erickson present a check to Jeff Kroon, Boys and Girls Club of Jamestown executive director, for youth related activities.
Today, The Hourglass Club, the Chi Sigma Chi alumni association, sponsors a number of alumni activities.
Since 2002, The Hourglass Club has hosted a reunion picnic for all members and their families. Proceeds from the picnic benefit the Remembrance Fund.
This year's picnic will be held Aug. 2 at Viking Lake Park.
For more information on the reunion please contact Ollie Erickson at 483-1700.
