DEWITTVILLE -Lois G. Littlefield Kesby, 86, of Dewittville, died unexpectedly, (June 3, 2014), at Saint Vincent Health Center, Erie, Pa.
She was born the daughter of Harold and Gladys Comstock Littlefield.
Lois was a faithful and loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, stepmother, grandmother, aunt, and friend.
She moved to Dewittville as a teenager for health reasons and made her home with Jack and Margie Beebe, where she helped in The General Store and also helped raise their daughter, Diane.
As a young woman, Lois traveled around Europe following World War ll and throughout the U.S.
She retired in 1991 after 20 years with the U.S. Post Office and was a proud member of the Dewittville Fire Auxiliary for over 50 years.
Lois is survived by her beloved son, Tom (Michelle McBratney) Kesby: three stepdaughters: Diane Beebe Moss, Judy (Larry) Ostrander and Gerry Davis; her grandchildren: Tyler Kesby, Nina (Matt) Watkins, Shawn (Cynthia Horton) McKane, Miranda Jo McKane; two sisters: Doris (Nelson) Sweetheimer and Jean Gagliano; a brother, George (Bev) Littlefield; and many nieces and nephews and knew all by name.
Besides her parents, Lois was predeceased by her husband, Roy J. Kesby; and her "second" parents, Jack and Margie Beebe.
Visitation will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday with the funeral to follow at 2 p.m. in the Peterson Funeral Home, Frewsburg. The Rev. Walter Venman, pastor of Clarks Corners Community Church, Kennedy, will officiate.
Burial will be in Ivory Cemetery, Frewsburg.
Rememberances may be made to the Dewittville Fire Auxillary.
