The two-day Sirianni Skills Football Camp for quarterbacks and receivers will be held on July 2 and 3.
The camp, which is fully staffed by high school, college and NFL coaches, will run from 9 a.m., until noon for youngsters entering grades 7-12 at the Charles A. Lawson Field at Southwestern Central School.
The cost is $60 per participant, which includes a camp T-shirt. Check-in is from 8:30-8:45 a.m. on July 2.
Quarterbacks are asked to bring their own footballs.
Leading the camp are directors Mike, Jay and Nick Sirianni, who have each enjoyed much success at the high school, college and NFL level.
Nick Sirianni is the quarterbacks coach with the San Diego Chargers, working closely with 2013 NFL Comeback Player of the Year Philip Rivers. In 2012, he served as the Kansas City Chiefs' wide receiver coach, working with receivers Dwayne Bowe, Steve Breaston and Dexter McCluster. Nick Sirianni joined the Chiefs after serving a three-year stint as the wide receivers coach at Indiana University-Pennsylvania. He also coached at Mount Union College where he helped the Purple Raiders win the NCAA Division III National Championship in 2005. As a player, he was a three-year starter at wide receiver at Mount Union and won back-to-back national titles in 2001 and 2002.
Mike Sirianni has been the head coach at Washington & Jefferson, an NCAA Division III school, for the past 11 seasons and has guided the Presidents to a 101-24 record over that span. In addition to owning the fifth-highest winning percentage amongst all active NCAA coaches, Mike has led the Presidents to seven Division III playoff appearances.
Jay Sirianni, meanwhile, has spent the last 11 seasons at the helm of the Southwestern Trojans, guiding the team to a 94-23 record, and four league and four sectional titles. Sirianni's Trojans won back-to-back New York State Public High School Athletic Association Class C state championships in 2008 and 2009, and finished runner-up in 2011.
As a special feature from noon to 1 p.m., July 2, Nick and Mike Sirianni will be available to any high school or youth coach who wants to participate in an on-the-field "chalk talk.''
