Seven seniors will graduate from Bethel Baptist Christian Academy at commencement exercises Sunday, June 8 at 3 p.m. They are as follows:
Valedictorian Hannah Boardman lives in Jamestown with her parents, Todd and Gail Boardman, and she has three older siblings.
Hannah has attended Bethel Baptist Christian Academy for 13 years. During those 13 years she has been involved in choir, volleyball, praise band and student government.
Hannah has made high honor roll and honor roll many times. She is a member of the BBCA Academic Honor Society and received all-conference honors for volleyball. Hannah has also received several high school character awards based on faithful people from the Bible. Hannah attends Busti Church of God and serves there by playing drums.
Hannah plans to attend Baptist Bible College in the fall for elementary education. This summer she plans to spend time with friends and family.
Salutatorian Daniil Zhuravlev is the son of Sergey and Irina Zhuravlev of Perm, Russia and while in America he lives in Ashville with his host parents, Jeffrey and Joyce Klau. He has three siblings. Daniil enrolled at Bethel Baptist Christian Academy in ninth grade and has attended BBCA for four years. During his time at BBCA, Daniil has participated in choir, select choir, praise band, student government, drama and basketball.
He has been named student of the quarter, has made honor roll, and won several character and class awards over the years. Daniil is also a member of the BBCA Academic Honor Society and Fine Arts Society for choir.
Daniil is an active member at Levant Wesleyan Church.
This summer, Daniil plans to go home to Perm, interpret for American missionaries, and visit with family and friends. He plans to attend 3Sixty School of Ministry in the fall.
Christina Evelyn Bailey is the daughter of Doug and Yolanda Bailey, has two sisters, and lives in Randolph.
During Christina's 11 years at Bethel Baptist Christian Academy, she has participated in drama, choir, select choir, yearbook, soccer, basketball and volleyball. She is a member of BBCA Fine Arts society for choir, received a Physical Fitness Award, sports Varsity Letter, and has received all-conference honors in volleyball and basketball several times.
Christina's activities outside BBCA include choose life, Make A Difference day, praise team at Randolph Baptist Church, junior church and vacation Bible school. In the fall, Christina plans to attend Lancaster Bible College for physical education. Her summer plan is getting a job.
Kyle Aaron Letterman is the son of Virginia and Jesse Horton of Falconer and Joshua Letterman. He has three siblings.
Kyle has attended Bethel Baptist Christian Academy for nine years and has participated in band and basketball. Kyle is in BBCA Fine Arts Society for band. Outside of BBCA, he attends church at Fellowship at the Cross. Kyle intends to work for a year and then attend college for video game design.
Anastasia Isabell Rosage lives in Dewittville, with her mother, Jill Rosage.
She has attended Bethel Baptist Christian Academy for three years. Ana has participated in band, choir, select choir and volleyball while at BBCA. She received a sports letter for volleyball. After graduation, she plans to work at the Ole Corner Deli in Hartfield.
Morgan Gina Lynn Triscari lives in Jamestown and is the daughter of John and Robin Triscari. She has two siblings.
Morgan has attended Bethel Baptist Christian Academy for 13 years. During that time, she has participated in volleyball, soccer, basketball, yearbook, Praise band, band, choir, select choir, drama and All-County Music Festival. She is a member of BBCA Fine Arts society for band and jazz band.
Outside BBCA, Morgan is active in her church, Bethel Baptist, with youth group, praise band, vacation Bible school, band ensemble, choir, Hands on Jamestown and she works at McDonald's. Morgan plans to continue working and in the fall she will attend Jamestown Business College for marketing and management.
Brenda (Chien-Yu) Lai came to Bethel Baptist Christian Academy from Taiwan. She is currently living with her host parents, Herb and Debbie Hotchkiss in Ashville and attends Bethel Baptist Church.
During her two years at BBCA, Brenda has participated in basketball and volleyball. Next year, she plans to attend Jamestown Community College. Her summer plans include going back to Taiwan and taking summer English classes at JCC.
