DUNKIRK - Maple Grove won two crowns while Southwestern was victorious once when the two-day Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Track & Field Championships concluded Saturday at Dunkirk High School.
The Red Dragons took home the Division III championships in both girls and boys competition.
The girls finished with 148 points, followed by Randolph with 140 points, Franklinville with 106 points, Clymer-Sherman-Panama with 88 points, West Valley with 27 points and Chautauqua Lake with 35 points.

On the boys side, Maple Grove won with 162 points. Randolph was next with 141 points, followed by CSP with 93.50 points, Franklinville with 78 points, West Valley with 41 points and Chautauqua Lake with 37 points.
Southwestern, meanwhile, was the runaway winner in Division I girls with 127 points followed by Dunkirk with 89 points, Salamanca with 84.50 points, Fredonia with 75 points, Falconer with 71.50 points, Olean with 61 points and Gowanda with 40.
Allegany-Limestone captured the Division II boys and girls while Olean took the Division I boys.
The Gators took first place in the boys with 154 points and the girls with 150 points as they won each rather decisively.
Olean scored 146 in winning the boys competition. Dunkirk was next with 126 points.
The Maple Grove girls were led by Christina Walter, who won the 100 in 12.51 and the 200 in 26.53. Hope Pietrocarlo, Walter's teammate, won the 3,000 with a time of 10:25.92 to turn back the challenge of Lauren Reyda of Fredonia, who placed second with a 11:06.72.
Maple Grove also placed first in the 3,200 relay with a clocking of 10:01.
Brittany Feldman led Southwestern to the Division 1 title by winning the 400 (57.93) and the high jump (5-1); Mckenna Maycock of Randolph was a double winner in the 400 hurdles (1:03.57) and 100 hurdles (15.91); Becca King of CSP came back after winning the 800 (2.23.44) and won the 1,500 (4:56.69).
Maple Grove claimed the boys championship in Division 3 with Corey Wefing and Brad Benson winning the 1,600 (4:24.77) and pole vault (12-3), respectively.
Also, the 3,200 relay team won in 8:22.44 for Maple Grove.

Jordan Powers of Southwestern, Matt Civilette of Fredonia and Nick Barlette of Dunkirk were double winners. Powers claimed the 110 high hurdles in 16.08 and the 400 hurdles in 55.58, Civilette the long jump in 19-4 and the triple jump in 43-10 and Barlette in the 100 in 11:49 and the 200 in 23.29.
