Kenneth C. Chamberlin Sr., 52, passed away at 8:55 a.m., on May 22, 2014, at WCA Hospital, after a short battle with lung cancer.
He was born Jan. 24, 1962, to the late Mary Lou Goodwill Boerst. He was raised by his stepfather, James Boerst, who survives.
He is survived by his companion of 20 years, Hope Dorman; three sons: Kenneth C. Jr. of Buffalo, Aaron and Austin, both at home; a daughter, Ashley of Minnesota; five sisters: Brenda Perks of Falconer, Robyn (Dave) Warner of Frewsburg, Roxanne Zerby of Jamestown, Debbie Jo McCurdy and Jennifer Glover, both of North Caro-lina; a brother, Gary Chamberlin of Jamestown; stepsisters: Roxanne Priest of Michigan and Sue Fair-banks of Fredonia; a step-brother, Bill Boerst of Wisconsin; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Kenneth loved karaoke, snowmobiling and working on vehicles.
Besides his mother, he is preceded in death by a brother, Scott Chamberlin in 1995; and a stepbrother, Harold ''Duffy'' Boerst in 2006.
As per Ken's wishes, there will be no visitation. A celebration of life service will be held at 1 p.m., Sa-turday, May 24, at his home at 323 Stowe St.
