Albert A. Clapper, 92, formerly of Falconer, passed away Saturday (May 17, 2014) in Golden Living Kinzua Valley, Warren, Pa.
He was born May 3, 1922, in Tomahawk, Wisconsin, the son of the late Adolph and Anna Marzalen Clapper.
Albert was a graduate of Falconer High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during WWII.
Prior to retirement he was employed by the former Malleable Iron Works.
He was a member of Our Lady of Loreto Catholic Church and enjoyed fish, hunting and gardening.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters: Alvina M. Clapper on April 11, 2007 and Isabelle L. Clapper on February 18, 2009.
The funeral will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Falconer Funeral Home.
The Rev. Joseph Janaczek, pastor of Our Lady of Lore-to Catholic Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 11-11:30 a.m. Tues-day in the funeral home.
