A Jamestown man has been met with multiple charges following a domestic disturbance Sunday morning.
Miguel Rodriguez, 48, was taken into custody and transported to the city jail after he allegedly broke into a female victim's home at 3 Stearns Ave., and threatened her with a knife.
According to a Jamestown Police Department report, Rodriguez forcibly entered the residence through the back door at approximately 8:30 a.m., causing damage to the door. Once inside, he punched the victim in the face after a verbal argument.
Rodriguez then went outside and began slashing the tires of the victim's vehicle with a knife. When the victim told him to stop, he pointed the knife and threatened to kill her. He then fled the scene prior to JPD's arrival, but was later located a few blocks away.
Rodriguez has been charged with second-degree burglary, third- and fourth-degree criminal mischief, second-degree menacing and third-degree assault.
