Local Mothers Create Autism Awareness, Advocacy Group

Three local moms have started a group focused on autism awareness and advocacy. Founders Carrie Jessey, Merrie Maxon and Megan Wilberg D'Angelo have created AMPED (Autistic Mothers Powered Educating Differences) driven to help provide opportunities for children, families and providers, and stakeholders who can all be a piece of the puzzle for creating a world with increased awareness and acceptance.
