Donation To Roswell

April 30, 2014
Post-Journal

The Chautauqua County Baseball Umpires Association, The Jamestown Savings Bank Arena, and The Jock Shop recently held Strike-Out Cancer Week. CCBUA members donated a game fee worked throughout that week or a monetary donation of their choice to Roswell Park for cancer research. In return umpires wore pink or light blue sweat bands, courtesy of the Jock Shop, in games worked that week to help raise awareness of cancer. Seen with a check from the proceeds are, from left, Brian Cersosimo, general manager of the Jamestown Savings Bank Arena; J.J. Bilinski, Strike-Out Cancer Week coordinator; Keith Ahlstrom, CCBUA representative; Randy Marsh, owner of the Jock Shop; Hannah Braun, community outreach director of the Jamestown Savings Bank Arena; and Julia Harvey, special events coordinator of the Roswell Park Alliance Foundation.
