Kennedy Pride will host a Victorian Tea with a Herb Garden theme Saturday, May 3 from 2-4 p.m. at the Kennedy First United Methodist Church. Cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children ages 6-12. Attendees are asked to bring their own teacup with prizes for the most unusual. Unique costumes and hats are encouraged with prizes awarded. Betsy Burgeson, Master Gardener program coordinator, will be the guest speaker, discussing the basics of herb gardening. Kennedy Pride will serve tea sandwiches, several flavors of tea and punch, fruit salad, chicken salad and tea cookies.
