HORSEHEADS - Jesse Valone and Nicole Schack of Stroup's Gymnastics were outstanding at the Elmira Spring Fling recently.
Valone, competing in the Diamond Class, took first place in vaulting (8.95), on balance beam (9.50), in floor exercise (9.35) and all-around (35.95).
Schack, competing in the Silver Class, came in first in vaulting (9.95) and all-around (36,90) while picking up seconds on the balance beam (9.45) and floor exercise (9.15).

Kali Mason: vaulting (8.35), bars (7.95), balance beam (8.40), floor exercise (8.25), all-around (32,95).
Sarah Inman: vaulting (8.35), bars (7.65), balance beam (8.25), floor exercise (6.75), all-around (31).
Emma Schrecengost: vaulting (8.90), bars (8.80), balance beam (9), floor exercise (8), all-around (34.70).
Elizabeth Schrecengost: vaulting (8.65), bars (8.25), balance beam (9), floor exercise (8.65), all-around (34.55).
Nicole Schack: 1st vaulting (9.95), bars (8.35), 2nd balance beam (9.45), 2nd floor exercise (9.15), 1st all-around (36.90).
Jesse Valone: 1st vaulting (8.95), 2nd bars (7.60), 1st balance beam (9.50), 1st floor exercise (9.35), 1st all-around (35.35).
