To the Readers' Forum:
January 9 was a cold morning. As I was walking to school, I crossed Third and Washington. On approaching The Renaissance Center, I slipped on a patch of ice and fell. I realized something was wrong, though wanted to keep on walking to look for help. As I was walking, I saw two city workers taking down Christmas decorations. They asked me what was wrong, and I told them, ''I think I broke my hand or finger.'' Both Mr. Vullo and Mr. Muscarella took me to the hospital. I'm grateful to them for taking their time out to help me when I was hurt.
