Marylee Cunningham, 90, of Jamestown, went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 30, 2014.
She was born March 20, 1924, in Pittsburgh, Pa., the daughter of Frank Collins and Ayerbelle Vaughn Mitchell.
Prior to retiring, she had been employed in the housekeeping department of WCA Hospital and earlier had worked at National Worsted Mills, Chautauqua County Department of Social Services and at the Chautauqua County Office for the Aging.
Marylee loved life and was very active. She liked to shop, and loved her music and dance. She loved and adored her family and friends, and especially loved her church.
Surviving are her children: Levon Cunningham, Loretta Ruiz and David Howie, all of Jamestown, and Lawrence Howie of Lakewood; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Raymond Cunningham; her son, Leonard Howie; two brothers: Charles and Bennie Mitchell; and two sisters: Helen Crawford and Charlene Jones.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Blackwell Chapel, AME Zion Church. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery.
The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the funeral service Saturday in the church.
