To the Readers' Forum:
On Tuesday, Feb. 18, we had a real snow storm. I was going to breakfast with a friend and she came to pick me up.
The city of Jamestown snowplows had been busy clearing the streets as best they could. Well, my dilemma was - which way and which snow bank to get over! The city plow came and saw me. Yes, the driver jumped out of his truck to help this 82-year young lady cross the street over the bank of snow. What a blessing to have such caring people.
I hope you will always praise these men and realize how much good is done in our city of Jamestown. I want to say thanks so much to the driver who came to rescue me.
Also, I have a fine gentleman from Kidder United Methodist Church who mows my lawn and shovels the snow for me. Thank you, John.
May God bless you both - snow angels!
