CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE
HANOVER - Adam J. Grisanti, 30, of Forestville was charged Thursday with driving while intoxicated, parking on the highway and unsafe tire. At approximately 9 a.m., deputies were notified of a suspicious vehicle parked on Dennison Road. Upon arrival, deputies found Grisanti asleep behind the wheel. It was determined that Grisanti was intoxicated. He was issued tickets and will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.
SHERIDAN - Brent R. Klein, 45, of Sheridan was charged Thursday with failing to keep right, moving from lane unsafely, improper signal, driving while intoxicated and DWI per se. At approximately 7:51 p.m., deputies patrolling Center Road observed a vehicle improperly use its turn signal as well as commit several lane violations. Upon investigation, deputies determined that the driver - Klein - was intoxicated. He was processed and later released with traffic tickets. He will appear in Sheridan Court at a later date.
POMFRET - Richard S. Kendorski, 49, of Fredonia was charged Thursday on a felony driving while intoxicated warrant. At approximately 6:25 p.m., deputies served an arrest warrant on Kendorski for a felony warrant out of Chautauqua County Court. Kendorski was taken into custody and committed to county jail.
HANOVER - Jeffrey E. Singer, 29, of Gowanda was charged Friday with petit larceny and trespass. After receiving reports of a suspicious male going through cars in Hanover, deputies learned from witnesses about the male's description. Singer was located a short distance away. Investigation revealed that Singer did enter a vehicle and removed property that did not belong to him. Singer was transported to county jail.
PANAMA - Kristen R. Seekings, 23, of Panama was involved in a minor personal injury accident on Weeks Road. At approximately 9:07 a.m., Seekings was southbound on Weeks Road when she crossed into the northbound lane and entered a large ditch on the east side of the roadway. Seekings and a 2-month-old passenger were transported to WCA Hospital for what appeared to be not life-threatening injuries by Clymer Rescue. Investigation is continuing.
JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Wayne G. Serra, 37, of Conneaut, Ohio, was charged Friday with felony driving while intoxicated, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operator, failure to keep right, second-degree criminal impersonation and suspended registration and no insurance. At approximately 1:40 a.m., officers stopped a vehicle on Allen Street for failing to keep right. Upon investigation, officers determined that the driver - Serra - knowingly misrepresented his actual name and date of birth in an attempt to conceal numerous prior DWI convictions and his revoked license in New York state. Serra was once again found to be intoxicated. He was transported to city jail and refused to submit a breath test. He is currently being held without bail awaiting arraignment.
Fred J. Levy, 34, of Jamestown was charged Friday with first-degree criminal contempt, fourth-degree criminal mischief and third-degree criminal mischief. At approximately 12:38 a.m., officers responded to Cross Street for a report of a domestic dispute. Investigation revealed that Levy violated a duly served order of protection issued by the city court when he threw a victim up against the wall of her living room and slapped her. Levy also broke the victim's cellphone, home phone and living room window. The victim was on the phone with emergency dispatch when Levy took the phone and broke it. Levy was taken into custody without incident and transported to city jail. He is currently awaiting arraignment by city court.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
A 17-year-old male from Jamestown was charged Thursday with fourth-degree criminal mischief at the Lakewood Wal-Mart. It is alleged that the male ripped open a cell phone case's packaging and concealed the case in his pocket. The male then dropped the merchandise before leaving the store. He was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Busti Court at a later date.
CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE
LITTLE VALLEY - Matthew A. Gimbrone, 29, of East Otto was charged Wednesday with felony driving while intoxicated, DWI with blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater, open container of alcohol, failing to keep right and no plate lamps. At approximately 11:03 p.m., Gimbrone was charged after a traffic stop on Eighth Street in Little Valley. He was processed and released on tickets. He is due back in Little Valley Court at a later date.
ALLEGANY - Chad L. Aurino, 29, of Allegany was charged Wednesday with first-degree offering a false instrument for filing and fifth-degree welfare fraud. Aurino was transported to the Olean Police Department and released into their custody pending arraignment in Olean Court.
