Anita Flood Smith, 77, of 3596 Woodhaven Drive, Jamestown, died Tuesday, March 25, 2014, in Heritage Village Rehab and Skilled Nursing.
She was born Aug. 7, 1936, in Jamestown, a daughter of the late Gordon and Lorraine Johnson Flood.
She was a graduate of Southwestern Central School, and prior to her retirement in 1995, was employed by Marine Midland Bank, as a loan officer in the agricultural department.
She was a member of the Chautauqua Lake Fishing Association and several club auxiliaries including Herman Kent Post 777 American Legion, Mayville Post 8647 Veterans of Foreign Wars, Eagles, Lakewood Rod and Gun Club and AMVETS Post 50, Sugar Grove.
Surviving is a sister, Janice Streed of Lakewood.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Smith, whom she married Jan, 11, 1958, and who died April 27, 2000; a brother, Robert Ribbing; a twin brother, Richard Flood; and her stepmother, Mildred Flood.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the Lind Funeral Home.
Inurnment will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
Friends will be received for one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
