Marjorie M. Bjork, 99, of Heritage Park Rehab & Skilled Nursing, formerly of Frewsburg, died, Sunday (March 23, 2014), at Heritage Park.
She was born June 23, 1914, in Frewsburg, the daughter of Fred and Edna Burch Nelson.
She had been employed at Carol Johnsons Beauty Shop, and was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Frewsburg, and the Jamestown Vikings.
Marjorie is survived by six grandchildren: Bethany Bjork, Michele Schmatz, Randall Bjork, Debra Howard, Kimberly Clark, and Cheryl Thomas; 13 great-grandchildren; a sister, Elva Allen; several nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Mary Jane Courter; two sons-in-law: Jim Anderson and Roger Johnson; and a daughter-in-law, Marcia Bjork.
She was predeceased by her husband, Maurice Bjork; a son, Timothy Bjork; two daughters: Suzette Anderson and Janice Johnson; a grandson, Chris Tim Bjork; four brothers: Clifford, Lyal, Albert and Horace; and three sisters: Mildred, Irene and Pauline.
A memorial service will be held at a time to be an-nounced. Burial will be in Christ Lutheran Cemetery, Shrewsbury, Pa.
The Peterson Funeral Home, Frewsburg, is in charge of arrangements.
