Elsie M. Daglish, 92, of Youngsville, passed away early Monday morning, March 24, 2014, at the Rouse Warren Co. Home.
She was born Feb. 4, 1922, in Warren, to the late Harry and Inez (Cook) Fink. Elsie lived a good, long life as a homemaker.
Elsie is survived by two daughters: Barbara (Tom) Smith of Tempe, Ariz., and Carolyn (Billsborough) Picarazzi of Falconer, N.Y.; a sister, Mary Lou Lindell of Tidioute, Pa.; a sister-in-law, Mary Fink of Tempe, Ariz.; a grandson, Todd (Lori) Carter of Kennedy, N.Y.; three grand-daughters: Tracy (Duane) VanEvery of North Carolina, Kristin Smith of Tempe, Ariz., and Danielle Smith of Tempe, Ariz.; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Elsie is preceded in death by her first husband, Ellis Billsborough; her second husband, William D. Daglish; a infant son; a infant brother; one grandchild, Troy Carter; one sister, Estie Hellman; two brothers: Howard and David Fink; and her stepfather, Ernest Springer.
Friends will be received at the Nelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 314 N. Main St., Youngsville, on Thursday, March 27, 2014, from noon to 1 p.m., at which time a funeral service will be held with the Rev. Marcus Briggs, chaplain of the Rouse Warren County Home, officiating. Burial will follow in the Wrightsville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the Warren County Cancer Center, 2 Crescent Park, Warren, PA 16365.
