The Winfred Crawford Dibert Boys & Girls Club of Jamestown will be starting a new eight-week session of swim lessons.
The club uses the Red Cross system of progressive instruction for beginning to advanced swimmers with placement in classes that encourage and support each child's efforts and abilities.
The swim lesson registration fee is $25 per participant. A Boys & Girls Club membership is also required and available for $15 for one full year of membership.
Mackenzie Haskins practices a dive at a recent swim lesson at the WCD Boys & Girls Club.
Swim lessons are scheduled in 45-minute sessions on Tuesdays-Saturdays. Call the Boys & Girls Club to see the time each level is offered.
The next session will begin on April 1 and run through May 24. Full payment must be made on the first day of attendance. Anyone needing additional information about swim lessons or a possible partial scholarship for either the membership or swim session should contact the WCD Boys & Girls Club at 664-2902.
In order to ensure optimal instruction, class sizes are limited so you should register early to be sure to get the time that works best for your family.
All youth programming at the Boys & Girls Club is funded in part by the United Way of Southern Chautauqua County.
