Webster D. Hough, 84, of 66 Liberty St., died at 10:26 a.m. Thursday (March 13, 2014) in Heritage Green Rehab and Skilled Nursing.
He was born Feb. 4, 1930, in Jamestown, the son of Daniel W. and Dixie Lee Porter Hough.
He attended Jamestown Public Schools and had attended Jamestown Community College.

A member of the Healing Word Ministries, he had served as an usher, and had helped with the maintenance of the church property.
Prior to retiring in 2013, he had operated his own property maintenance and snow plowing business.
Webster loved engaging others in conversation and telling stories. He also enjoyed flower gardening. He had a dream of starting a youth center for the community, but unfortunately did not live to see his dream realized.
Surviving are his wife, Rosalie E. Shirley Hough; a stepdaughter, Tina Louise Keeler; and many cousins from the Porter family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his precious aunts and uncles, and several other family members.
The funeral will be at noon Monday in Powers, Present & Sixbey Funeral Home. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
