CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE
Ivan Robles, 50, of Jamestown, was charged Thursday with no/inadequate lights, driving while intoxicated, DWI with blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater and open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle. At approximately 8:33 p.m., deputies stopped a vehicle on Victoria Avenue for an vehicle equipment violation. The operator was identified as Robles. Further investigation revealed he was intoxicated. Robles was released with traffic tickets and will appear in Jamestown Court at a later date.
REGIONAL DRUG TASK FORCE
OLEAN-John M. Chabuel, 20, of Olean, was charged Thursday with five counts of fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, one count of third-degree criminal sale of a firearm, three counts of fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, one count of fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana, one count of fourth-degree criminal sale of marijuana and one count of unlawful possession of marijuana. William A. Diapola, 22, and Megan I. Linn, 30, both of Olean, were charged Thursday with one count of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and one count of unlawful possession of marijuana. The charges were filed after the execution of a search warrant at 138 Fulton St. by members of the task force, New York State Police BCI Amity, Olean police and Olean street crimes unit. Diapola and Linn were issued appearance tickets and will appear in court on March 25. Chabuel was arraigned in Allegany Court and remanded to Cattaraugus County Jail on $15,000 bail or $30,000 bond.
JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Justin M. Fred, 31, of Jamestown was charged Friday with disorderly conduct, second-degree obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest. Lisa M. Mast, 29, of Jamestown, was charged Friday with third-degree assault. At approximately 1 a.m., officers responded to Forest Avenue for a report of a physical domestic dispute in progress. Investigation revealed that Mast assaulted Fred by punching him in the mouth several times causing a laceration of the lip. Mast was taken into custody without incident and transported to city jail. Fred became disorderly and began to yell profanity at officers after being warned to stop. He then attempted to stop officers from leaving the residence by attempting to fight with them. He was taken into custody and transported to jail after a brief struggle. Both are awaiting arraignment.
Christopher Hibbard, 32, of Jamestown, was charged Thursday with criminal obstruction of breathing and second-degree harassment. At approximately 9:34 a.m., officers responded to an address on East Second Street for a reported physical domestic dispute in progress. Upon arrival, officers located Hibbard leaving the residence. It was determined that Hibbard had a physical altercation with a female victim. It is alleged that Hibbard applied pressure to the neck of the victim as well as additional unwanted physical contact. He was transported to city jail and is pending arraignment.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Dylan M. Abbey, 21, of Ashville, was charged Thursday with criminal possession of stolen property, criminal possession of hypodermic needle and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Police were investigating a burglary from a Lakewood house. During the investigation, a ring stolen from the house was pawned at Reeds Jewelers by Abbey. Abbey was stopped for unlicensed operation, and while being interviewed about the burglary, Abbey was found to have a hypodermic needle. Abbey was transported to Chautauqua County Jail and is awaiting arraignment.
Darren K. Lynch, 21, of Jamestown, was charged Thursday with petit larceny. At approximately 5:45 p.m., Lynch was charged after allegedly stealing steaks, laundry soap and HDMI cable valuing $40.63. Lynch was arraigned in Busti Court and will appear there on a later date.
ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT
Reinaldo Santiago, 36, of Jamestown, was charged Tuesday with petit larceny. Police charged Santiago for stealing a cellphone. Police identified him from security footage. He was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.
CATTARAUGUS COUNTY JAIL
OLEAN-Michael S. Babb, 31, of Carrollton, was charged Tuesday with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. Babb was arrested after an incident that took place on Jan. 15 in Olean. He was processed at the Olean sub-station and released with an appearance ticket. He will appear in Olean Court on Mar.27 at 6 p.m.
OLEAN-Jenna L. Kincaid, 27, of Olean, was charged Tuesday with first-degree offering a false instrument, fourth-degree grand larceny and fourth-degree fraud. Kincaid was arrested on a bench warrant issued out of Olean Court. She was transported to Olean Court for arraignment. She will appear in Olean Court for arraignment and will appear there on April 22 at 9 a.m.
