WESTFIELD - A Westfield man was charged Monday after reportedly burglarizing several homes in the town and village of Westfield.
According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office, Todd L. Reardon, 38, had stolen approximately $7,000 worth of goods during numerous daytime burglaries. He allegedly had a liking for coin collections, police said.
A joint investigation by the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office and the Westfield Police Department culminated in his arrest at his Westfield home.
Reardon was charged with two counts of second-degree burglary. He was arraigned and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash or $100,000 property.
