JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Matthew S. Myers, 36, of Jamestown was charged Thursday with second-degree criminal trespass and endangering the welfare of a child. At approximately 5:07 a.m., police responded to a Crescent Street address for a report of a possible burglary. Officers responded to the area and located a male subject matching the suspect's description walking away from the scene. Further investigation determined that Myers had entered the residence without the occupant's consent. A struggle ensued between Myers and another male subject inside the residence. This occurred in front of a small child that also resided insided the residence. Myers was transported to the city jail without incident and is currently being held without bail.
CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE
FREEDOM - Amy M. Nickerson, 37, of Delevan was charged Monday with fourth-degree grand larceny. At approximately 9 p.m., deputies charged Nickerson after an investigation of items stolen from a residence in Freedom. She was arraigned at Freedom Court and transported to jail in lieu of $1,000.

POMFRET - Martellion Ham, 42, of Cassadaga was charged with driving while intoxicated and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance after a traffic stop Wednesday on Straight Road at the intersection with Route 60. Troopers pulled Ham over and found him to be in possession of small amount of cocaine. Ham submitted a breath test with a result of .08 percent blood alcohol content and also had a revoked license. He will answer to the charges in Pomfret Town Court on March 18.
