A two-car accident in Jamestown sent two to WCA hospital and caused significant damage to a building Tuesday afternoon.
Brake failure allegedly caused the female driver of a white Dodge Stratus to run a stop sign while traveling east on Superior Street around 12:30 p.m., further colliding with the driver's side of a blue Ford Fusion traveling north on Forest Avenue. The impact caused the male driver of the Fusion to lose control and crash into Superior Hair Design.
"We've got some serious injuries here," said Capt. Todd Isaacson of the Jamestown Police Department, further noting that the Stratus would be impounded for inspection.

A witness said the female driver could be heard repeating, "I couldn't stop," as she was pulled from the vehicle.
"Utterances like that usually indicate brake failure," Isaacson said. "Charges will align after further investigation of inspection."
Isaacson said inadequate brakes are a misdemeanor in New York state, and driving through the stop sign will result in a ticket for failure to yield, regardless of other charges.
Both drivers were transported to WCA Hospital via Alstar Ambulance, and no one was hurt at Superior Hair Design.
Jamestown Police and Fire departments also responded to the scene.
The drivers' names have not been released.
