Lucille Olsen, 79, of Star Apartments in Brocton, N.Y., passed away peacefully at Brooks Memorial Hospital in Dunkirk, N.Y., on Thursday evening, Feb. 26, 2014, with her loving family by her side.
Lucille was born in Westfield, N.Y., on April 16, 1934, to the late Alton and Beatrice McIntyre Chapman.
She lived in this area her entire life. During her life, she had been a waitress for 23 years at the former Vineyard Restaurant of Dunkirk, N.Y. Lucille was also a member of the American Legion John W. Dill Post 434 of Brocton, N.Y., and the Moose Club of Westfield, N.Y. Besides enjoying her loving children and grandchildren, she enjoyed cooking and embroidering.
Lucille is survived by her three daughters: Barbara (Ronald) Delcamp of Brocton, N.Y., Sharon Morello of Brocton, N.Y., and Billie Boland of Brocton, N.Y.; two sons: David (Jane) Stoll of Cassadaga, N.Y., and John S. Stoll of Forestville, N.Y.; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two daughters: Ann Marie Dotson and Kathy Boland; and one brother, Theodore Chapman.
Funeral services will be held Saturday morning, March 1, 2014 at 11 a.m. from the Morse Funeral Home, 51 Highland Ave., Brocton, N.Y. The Rev. Larry Morrison will officiate.
Friends are invited to call at the Morse Funeral Home on Friday, Feb. 28, 2014, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Interment will be private.
