Busti Historical Society Honors Town’s Namesake With Park

February 27, 2014
The Post-Journal

A piece of land located on the five corners of Busti will be transformed into a community park honoring Paul Busti, after whom the town is named. A grant from the Axel W. Carlson Memorial Fund, administered by the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation, has aided the Busti Historical Society in securing a title search and survey of the property. Pictured, from left, are members of the Busti Historical Society: John Siggins, Joe Gerace, Tim Young and Bob Schultz, standing in front of the proposed park with Michelle Frederickson, Community Foundation program associate, and Mark Barger, Community Foundation grants committee member.
