St. Susan Center soup kitchen recently received a $2,000 donation from the Bemus Point United Methodist Church.
The donation was made after the Soup and a Song event held recently as part of St. Susan Center's 30th Anniversary Celebration.
The Bemus Point United Methodist Church sponsored the evening by joining St. Susan Center in providing a selection of tasty and hearty soups. In addition, Worship Leader, Mike Quimby, along with praise band member, Randy Graham, provided "the song" via an evening of musical selections both sacred and secular.
St. Susan Center Executive Director Sue Colwell, and Volunteer Coordinator Woody Howland, are pictured accepting a $2,000 donation from the Bemus Point United Methodist Church.
The celebration will continue on Saturday, March 15, with the next Soup and a Song event.
