Angeline B. Cresanti, 87, formerly of 298 S. Main St., Jamestown, passed away Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014, in the Heritage Village Rehab and Skilled Nursing Facility.
A lifelong area resident, she was born Oct. 5, 1926, in Jamestown, N.Y., a daughter of the late Cro-chetta "Croce" and Jacqueline Restivo Pepe.
She was a communicant of St. James Roman Catholic Church.
In previous years, she was employed by the former Jamestown Worsted Mills, the former Crescent Tool Company and the former Jamestown Stamp Company.
Surviving are three children: John (Lynn) Cresanti, Sr. of Bemus Point, N.Y., Jacqueline Marie (William) Lindquist of Canton, Ohio, and Carol Jean (Charles) Wilson of Georgetown, Texas; five grandchildren: John (Candace) Cresanti of Bemus Point, Jason (Michelle) Cresanti, Michael B. Lindquist and Cather-ine Marie Lindquist, both of Texas, and Christine (Chad) Green of Spring, Texas; and 10 great- grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Cresanti, whom she married Sept. 13, 1944, and who died Nov. 20, 2001; three sisters: Josephine Cimino, Edith LaBodie and Mar-garet Perry; and a brother, Samuel Pepe.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014, in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Deacon Michael Lennon of St. James Catholic Church, will officiate. Visitation will not be observed.
