Jamestown DAR Holds Annual Patriotic Luncheon, Program

February 20, 2014
The Post-Journal

The Jamestown Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution held their annual spring patriotic luncheon and program recently in Jamestown. The group of members and guests were welcomed by Linda Cass, chapter regent, and the invocation was given by Chaplain Cecilia Bingham. John Sipos, Cassadaga village historian, gave a historical presentation on "a patriotic minute" talking about the first United States President George Washington, and showing some old parade souvenirs. Following the historical report, a fine luncheon was served to all.
