The Mid-Winter Classic, sponsored by the Chautauqua County Hockey Association, concluded on Monday at the Jamestown Savings Bank Ice Arena with tournament titles on the line and Jamestown came through when it counted as the Lakers won the Bantam White Division championship with a 3-2 victory over Butler Valley.
Zachary Levenstein started things off with an unassisted goal, then earned an assist on a goal by Cade Poston.
Jacob Gerace then drilled a shot into the net, assisted by Michael Derby.

For Butler Valley, Brenden Wargo scored with Doug Obenrader assisting and Brandon Holt had the remaining goal as Jake Broman got the assist.
In the Squirt Red Division title game, Jamestown was unable to mount any offense, falling to Butler Valley, 3-0, as Jacob Gardner drilled a pair of goals with assists by Caleb Miller and Albert McKee IV and Connor Salsbury added an unassisted goal.
In the Squirt White Division championship game, Steel City shut out Erie, 5-0.
For the winners, Dalton Frankert scored twice with assists from Denny Downey and Andrew Rich, John Fitzgerald added a goal, assisted by Jackson Zemek and Ashton Shutzman, Jacob Cochran scored off an assist by Logan Thom and Brandon Jonni netted a goal with Rich and Schutzman assisting.
As for the Squirt Blue Division crown, Butler Valley edged Hamburg, 3-2.
For Butler Valley, Noah Bencoster scored as Bryce Sacre assisted, Matthew Moser netted a goal with the assist going to Rocco Pellegrino and Tyler Kearney picked up a goal with Brayden Povlick and Colin Hurst assisting.
For Hamburg, Michael Reigle and Robert Johnson scored unassisted goals.
In the Pee Wee Blue Division, Hamburg shut out camillus, 3-0, for the championship.
Bo Johnson scored a pair of goals, the first unassisted and the second off an assist by Michael Willard, and Taylor Rybchiwski added a solo goal with Willard getting the assist.
Westmoreland wrapped up the Pee Wee White championship with a 3-1 win over Butler Valley, led by Tristan Moyer with two goals, one unassisted and the other off an assist by Levi Myers and Salvatore Cerilli scored a goal with Josiah Stouffer.
For Butler Valley, William Studt scored the lone goal as Derek Howe and Caeden Wargo assisted.
In the Bantam Red Division title game, West Seneca got by Butler Valley, 3-2.
For the winners, Max Dobrick scored off the assist by Evan Shanley, Peter Borzillieri netted another goal, unassisted, and Jason Wojciechowski found the net as Wilford Whitney and Parker Valvo assisted.
Justin Strobel scored twice for Butler Valley with assists going to Bill Harker and Ryan Murdock on the first tally and Rachel Brosky on the second.
Butler Valley claimed the Pee Wee Red Division title after posting a 5-3 victory over Rocky River.
Matt Commodore drilled a pair of goals, assisted by Ronan Miller and Camden Jackson and Miller picked up two goals of his own, one assisted by Joe Folmer and Sam Stayduhar and the other goal unassisted and Jackson also had a goal, assisted by Luke Norkus.
For Rocky River, Matthew Smith scored off an assist by Ian Dargal, Ryce Federle added another goal with Joe Wilbur getting the assist and Dargal closed out the scoring as Sean Coleman assisted.
BANTAM WHITE DIVISION
It was a great outing for the Jamestown Lakers as they shut out Strongsville, 8-0, to earn their spot in the championship matchup.
Jason Knupp was on fire, getting the hat trick, assisted by Thomas Muecke and Jacob Gerace and Zach Levenstein came through with two more goals as Cameron Turner and Kole Maytum picked up assists.
Gerace added a solo goal with Muecke and Michael Derby assisting, Owen Krepps came through with a goal, assisted by Levenstein and Maytum wrapped up Jamestown's scoring as Gerace got the assist.
Butler Valley also secured its spot in the championship game by blanking Buffalo Stars-Leach, 10-1.
Jared Taylor led the offense with a hat trick as Adam Holt earned the assist on each goal, Holt added two goals of his own with Brett Brady getting the assist on the first and Taylor assisted on the second, Brady connected for a goal with Holt assisting, Ryan Bates scored once, assisted by Brenden Wargo and Brandon Holt scored off an assist by Kyle Kaufman.
For the Buffalo Stars, Brady Nicosia scored the lone goal while Connor Lucas assisted.
Stars-Maloney rolled to a 9-1 victory over Butler Valley-Hurlburt.
Francis Weiss netted a pair of goals, assisted by Anthony Pietromicca and Nathan Mathis, Mathis also had two goals with Jake Simonsen and Patrick Johnson getting the assists, Andrew Relosky scored once with Joshua Meloney assisting, Nicholas Wachowski added another goal with Jacob Schmidt earning the assist, Tyler Barniak drilled another goal as Grant Zell assisted and Joseph Russo delivered a goal with Francis Weiss assisting.
Maximillian Gaichas scored for Butler Valley-Hurlburt, assisted by Richard Fisher.
SQUIRT RED DIVISION
Armstrong handed Jamestown a 2-0 setback.
For the Lakers, Evan Christensen scored off an assist by Lucian Talbett and Taryn Silanpas added a goal with Evan Bishop assisting.
Ethan Pugh had two of Armstrong's goals, assisted by Camden Davis and Hunter Townsend and Davis fired in a goal of his own, unassisted.
Butler Valley-McKee was a 3-2 winner over the Shamrocks.
Adian Bright, Jacob Gardner and Adam Dembrowski all scored unassisted goals for the winners while Kaleb Smith had both goals for Butler Valley-McKee, assisted by Owen Batchen.
PEE WEE WHITE DIVISION
Westmoreland earned its way to the championship game with an 8-0 shutout win over Mentor.
Levi Myers delivered the hat trick as Josiah Stouffer and Salvatore Cerilli earned assists, Cerilli drilled two more goals with Stouffer and Lucas Long assisting, Stouffer then added a solo unassisted goal and Keeghan Murrey found the net with Colten McCutcheon assisting.
Butler Valley-Hurst topped Erie, 5-2.
William Studt produced two goals, assisted by Caeden Wargo and Ryan Koprivikar, Wargo also scored off the assist by Derek Howe and Studt, Jacob Bianco added another goal with Mackenzie Riemer and Rom Mitchell Hurst and Jacob Golab scored with Zack Borowski assisting.
Kaliszewski scored unassisted and Johnston added a goal for Erie as Tuholski assisted.
Stars-Ingelfinger outlasted Strongsville Katrinak, 6-4.
For the winners, Ronan Argy-Junker picked up the hat trick, assisted by Ethan Biggs and Miki Moeller, Noah Besecker scored off an assist by Alex Sisti, Austin Baker found the net as Gabe Thornton assisted and Thorton and Pat Burke assisted on a goal by D.J. Osinski.
PEE WEE RED DIVISION
Webster's Teagen Spang netted a pair of goals as Webster shut out Jamestown, 5-0.
Nathan Kernan assisted on Spang's goals and scored one himself, assisted by Alarico Valentini. Also scoring were William Fisher off the assist by Patrick Hays and Hays added another goal with Caleb Eckert assisting.
Joe Wilbur came through with a hat trick while Tommy Kelly and Luke Witzigrueter assisted as Rocky River routed Rochester, 14-0.
Ian Darai scored twice, assisted by Sam Daugstup and Ian Dargai, David Strick found the net two times with Evan Petyrk and Daugstup assisting, Sean Coleman picked up two goals with Strick and Wilbur getting assists, Daugstup added a solo unassisted goal, Matt Romansky scored with Wilbur assisting, Mike O'Brian produced a goal as Wilbur and Dargai got the assists, Petryk also scored one goal with Matthew Smith getting the assist and Kelly came through with a goal, assisted by O'Brian and Strick.
Butler Valley-Stayduhar posted a 9-0 win over Strongsville-Knight, led by Camden Jackson with two goals, assisted by Lance Cotton and Richard Wild.
Ronan Miller scored as Cotton assisted, Cameron Ruk added another goal with Miller getting the assist, Patrick McCann chimed in with a goal as Miller and Sam Stayduhar assisted, Joseph Cohlich found the net off the assist by Joe Folmer, Cotton then scored a goal with Miller earning another assist and Luke Norkus delivered a goal as Folmer got the assist.
