GERRY - The Rodeo City Senior Citizens met recently at the Gerry United Methodist Church for a Valentine's Day luncheon and musical program. President Leona Peterson welcomed all and wished everyone a happy day. The musical program was the group known as the Chautauqua Shores, which is a singing group. Nine members of the group sang for the senior group, and all of the singers wore a bright red jacket for Valentine's Day. The group began with the songs "Be My Valentine," "Let Me Call You Sweetheart" and concluded with the song "Good News." A quartet which included two sisters who were singing together since the ages of 6 and 7, sang "Always." The singing group practices in the First Baptist Church on Fifth Street in Jamestown on Monday evenings and welcomes new singers.
