I was working out of state last week when I heard the story of our illustrious governor's comments about people who differ from his views on gun rights, gay marriage and abortion.
I feel sorry for him that he is so intimidated and unaccepting of people who don't believe the way that he believes. I always thought that our country and maybe even our state was better than that. It even made me wonder that maybe someday when I return back to the state that I have lived in most of my life that I may be stopped at the border and asked some questions to determine if I am eligible to enter back into my home state.
I would like to believe that my governor is better than this, but I guess that I am wrong. Maybe I will need to move to a more open minded place.
