ERIE - The Southern Tier Storm finished first in the 19-Under Girls Division of the Sarah Backstrom Hockey Tournament.
The Storm opened with a 3-3 tie with the Burlington Gold Diggers on Friday.
Courtney Schoepflin had a goal and an assist while Madison Carlson and Brianne Davis each had a goal. Picking up assists were Jade Swick, Jordan Yaros, Jade Walsh, Rebecca Rothleder and Corri Proctor .

On Saturday, the Storm topped Oakville, 5-2.
Lauren Madden had three goals and Rothleder one. Kaylee Marsfelder recorded a goal and an assist. Walsh and Proctor had two assists each while Carolyn Ferrick, Davis and Emma Ferrick each had one each.
The Storm then defeated the Burlington Wildcats, 6-1, on Sunday with three goals by Davis.
Rothleder had a goal and assist and Madden and Walsh each had one goal. Swick, Yaros and Ferrick each had assists
The Storm won the title on Sunday by defeating the Pittsburgh Vipers in triple overtime on a goal by Madden, assisted by Yaros.
Madden was named the most valuable player and Rachel Clark was named the tournament's top goaltender.
