NORTH HARMONY-Cindal N. Thomas, 19, of Bemus Point, and Sarah F. Newman, 19, of Jamestown, were involved in a motor vehicle accident Friday.
At approximately 10:25 a.m., Thomas was traveling westbound on Interstate 86 when she encountered icy road conditions. She lost control of her vehicle and struck a guard rail on the north side of the roadway, police said. The vehicle then bounced off and exited the south side of the roadway into the median and came to a rest.
Both Thomas and her passenger, Newman, complained of head and neck pain and were transported to WCA Hospital for their injuries.
