Paul P. Matuszewski, 71, of Jamestown, NY, died Friday, Jan. 24, 2014, at Hos-pice of the Comforter, Altamonte Spring, Fla. He was born Sept. 7, 1942, in Dunkirk, N.Y., the son of Alfred and Agnes Kurgan Matuszewski.
Paul was a Jamestown area resident most of his life. He was self-employed and owned Paul's Gulf Service Station at the corner of Second and Windsor streets, and later Lakewood Blue Sunoco on Fairmount Avenue.
Paul was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be sadly missed by all.
Paul is survived by his wife of 40 years, Diane Rickerson Matuszewski, whom he married Feb. 14, 1973, in Akeley, Pa.; his children: Debra (David) Bush of Lakewood, N.Y., Richard (Michelle) Foster of Orlando, Fla., and Andrew Greenlee of Jamestown, N.Y.; eight grandchildren: David Bush, Mikel Bush, Nicole Bush, Alexandra Foster, Morgan Foster and Zachary Foster, all of Orlando, Fla., and An-drew and Luke Greenlee of Jamestown, N.Y.; two brothers: Jack Matuszewski of Fredonia, N.Y., and Larry Matuszewski of North Royalton, Ohio; and a nephew, Joe Matuszewski, Hinckley, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Brian Boccolucci.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to Hospice Chautauqua County, 20 W. Fair-mount Ave., Lakewood, NY 1470l.
Family will celebrate Paul's life in a private ceremony.
