Everett E. Reynolds, 81, of 7308 Bates Road, Sherman, N.Y., passed away, Monday, Jan. 20, 2014, at his home.
He was born May 25, 1932, in Sherman, N.Y., the son of the late Kenneth and Clara Foster Reynolds.
Everett was a dairy farmer for 60 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Sherman, where he enjoyed greeting and welcoming people and also served as a Sunday school teacher, deacon, and an usher. He had served on the Farmers Mill board of directors and for various committees for Agway. He enjoyed working in his machine shop and making maple syrup in the spring.

He is survived by his wife, Alice Reynolds of Sherman, N.Y., whom he married Nov. 12, 1952; children: Anita (Tom) Lozier and Paul (Carolyn) Reynolds, both of Sherman, N.Y.; grandchildren: Jean, Jonathan, Benjamin and Timothy Lozier, and Ruth (Matt) Stile, Scott (Shaina) Reynolds and Ethan (Judy) Reynolds; four great- grandchildren; Gabriel and Jeremy Stiles and Noah and Sharlett Reynolds.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Merle and Robert Reynolds.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 24, 2014, at the First Baptist Church, Sherman, with the Rev. Paul Sears, pastor of the church, officiating. Burial will be in Mina Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014, at the Spitzer Funeral Home, Sherman, N.Y., and for one hour prior to the service at church on Friday.
